Maternity + Birth
There is nothing ordinary about what your body is doing right now... pure magic.

Evidence of Becoming
Maternity
This season, with this baby, only happens once. The specific weight of it. The particular way you move through a room. The anticipation that lives in your chest every single morning. The version of yourself that exists only right now — suspended between who you were and who you are about to become.
I photograph maternity sessions because I believe this moment deserves a witness. Not a performance. Not a posed portrait of a bump. A real, honest document of a woman in one of the most powerful seasons of her life.
These images are for you. For the person you are right now, in this chapter as we honor that time is precious and fleeting.
Birth
I want to say something carefully here: birth photography is not for everyone. And that's okay. But if something in you has been quietly wondering — if you've looked at birth photographs and felt something crack open — I want you to know that feeling is worth listening to.
Birth is the most transformative hours of a human life. It is raw and sacred and completely unrepeatable. And the families who choose to have it documented almost universally say the same thing afterward: I had no idea how much I would cherish these.
I come to your hospital room, your birth center, your home. I move quietly. I do not intrude on what is happening. I simply make sure it is never forgotten.
These images can be graphic. They are sensational but not in the way we might be used to on our social media feeds. They are true and authentic to your birth experience.
Before you ever held them, you were already making room.
In your home.
In your body.
In the shape of your days.
These photographs preserve more than pregnancy or birth.
They preserve the waiting, the tenderness, the strength, and the quiet ways your family began changing long before you met.

If you're sitting with this page feeling something you can't quite name — a longing mixed with uncertainty — I want you to know that I understand. I photograph people who crave to be witnessed but find it hard to be seen. The goal is not to make you feel exposed but instead feeling immensely held.

You are already becoming.

One day, the waiting will be over.
The hospital room will feel far away.
The body that carried them will have changed again.
But these photographs will remember the hands that supported you, the strength you didn’t know you had, and the moment your family became something new.
Let’s preserve the evidence of this beginning.
What if my birth happens earlier or later than expected?
I plan for this. Birth clients are added to my on-call roster at 37 weeks and I stay available around your due date window. Call or text when active labor begins — I'll be there. Communication is Key!
Where do you photograph births?
Hospitals, birth centers, and home births — wherever you are is where I belong - right alongside you.
How do you handle the intensity of a birth space?
Quietly and with deep respect. I follow your lead, stay out of the way of your care team, and move through the room without disrupting what's happening. You will barely know I'm there — until you see the photographs.
